SunHawk Academy Residential Treatment Boarding School
SunHawk's residential treatment boarding school for teens ages 13-17 provides students and their families with consistent, quality therapy and high-caliber education that will give them new options and goals to help them be more successful in school and in life. We teach honesty, respect, teamwork and accountability. We enforce rules such as no smoking, no drinking, no tobacco, and no drugs. The goal continues in an academic setting with structured living in a boarding school environment. This allows your teen to get back on track away from their current peer group, which may be influencing their negative behaviors.
A key ingredient in the Sunhawk program is the amount of time and effort the therapists spend working directly with students and the interaction that they have with parents during and after the program. Every bad attitude and manipulative behavior is dealt with directly and immediately. Through this consistent correction and positive guidance, day after day, in a structured, hard-working environment, positive changes begin to emerge.
